Yesterday, I joined my colleagues at Evans Hotels as part of the support squad for the Susan Komen 3-Day Walk. We cheered on the amazing participants who walked to fight breast cancer. I had so much fun setting up a mermaid-themed photo op at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa for the amazing walkers. Seeing the joy on their faces as they struck their best mermaid poses was priceless! 🧜♀️📸 I’m so grateful to have been part of this special day, creating moments of joy and giving walkers a chance to take home memories they’ll cherish forever. 💗 As a family-run business with a deep commitment to San Diego, Evans Hotels embodies the belief that the hotels are both “of the community” and “for the community.” The WE CARE program, focuses on giving back in meaningful ways by investing in the people, community, and planet. Making a Difference Together! 🌎 Today, our team at Claremont Club & Spa joined hands with the amazing folks at Claremont Canyon Conservancy for a day dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of our backyard. We spent the day cleaning trails, removing invasive plants, and contributing to the upkeep of Claremont Canyon. A huge thank you to all our volunteers and partners who made this day possible. As part of our 2024 Pacifica Gives Back campaign, our San Diego team volunteered with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank to make a meaningful impact this holiday season. Working as a collaborative team, they packed 16 pallets—33,600 pounds of food!—that will be delivered to seniors across San Diego and Imperial counties. World Alzheimer's Day, which takes place every Sept. 21, is a global effort to raise awareness and challenge the stigma around Alzheimer's disease and other dementia. For the 4th year, Silverado Resort hosted "Silverado's Walk to End Alzheimer's", where the Resort Team, Country Club Members and local Silverado Community partner to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association. This year, #TeamSilverado raised over $3,500 and 55 people walked a 4 mile loop around the property to support this cause. Thank you, Team!!!!
