About us
The Houston Chapter of RIMS (The Risk Management Society) was formed in 1953 and serves our members in the greater Houston area. Our mission is to provide the highest quality services, education and information to those who work in and support the risk management profession. Houston RIMS offers monthly meetings which include networking opportunities and guest speakers addressing pertinent topics that impact the risk management industry. Each year, we present our Fall Conference with a full-day of speakers and panel discussions, targeted to enhance the professional development of members and those who support risk management in the area.

Great discussions were had at yesterday's luncheon on tackling the rising cost of risk. Industry leaders Rose Hall, PE and AJ Harms shared innovative models and strategies designed to adapt to an ever-evolving risk landscape. From telematics to supply chain management, it's clear that collaboration and creativity are key to overcoming today’s challenges. We are excited to continue the conversation and drive change in the insurance space!

What an incredible day at the Houston RIMS Clay Shoot event! We couldn't have asked for better weather or group of people to spend the day with. Whether you were a seasoned shooter or a first-timer, your enthusiasm and teamwork made the day unforgettable. A huge thank you to our sponsors Rosenberg & Parker, Gallagher Bassett, Pearson Legal, PC and BluSky Restoration Contractors who helped make this event a success. See you all next year!
