Revolutionizing pathogen defense on high-contact surfaces 🛡️ In collaboration with Boeing and General Motors, HRL has developed a cutting-edge biphasic polymer coating designed for durability and extended #antimicrobial protection. Our recent paper in #Langmuir suggests this innovation actively combats pathogens, including Influenza A (Swine flu), across high-touch surfaces. 📢 “Our biphasic polymer coating raises the bar on durability for automotive and aerospace applications, extending microbial protection to new environments with meaningful implications for public health and commercial use,” shares Adam Gross, principal investigator. 🔗 More here: https://bit.ly/42GpCc8 #HRLLaboratories ACS Publications

We're thrilled to join forces with North Carolina State University, Adroit Materials and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) on a transformative program focused on ultra-wide bandgap #semiconductors.    ➡️ With pioneering work in Aluminum Nitride materials and fabrication techniques, our team is developing the next generation of ultra-wide bandgap components for power conversion and radio frequency applications.   ➡️ This effort will open new frontiers in high-performance electronics for #DoD and commercial applications.

What an incredible experience at the 2024 AFROTECH Conference in Houston. The Community. The Collaboration. The Energy...was definitely on another level! As a Black professional, it's an indescribable feeling to be in a space where I am surrounded by so many Black tech professionals and to be truly represented in such a positive and professional way. And to look behind me and see my CHRO Genny Findlay and Director Rick Sanchez, SPHR in this space with me, is empowering in itself.
