Ever wondered who’s behind the magic at MECCA? Meet Brandi Brooks, our incredible MECCA Director, who brings her creativity, passion, and drive to everything she does! 🔥 What Brandi is most passionate about: “I am passionate about fostering innovation and creativity to inspire ideas and create meaningful change in educational spaces that serve underrepresented communities.” ☕ On the weekends you can find Brandi: At Omen Coffee drinking a dirty chai latte! 🎮 One thing people are surprised to learn about Brandi is: She’s been playing The Sims™ game since 1999. 🎵 Current jam Brandi has on repeat: 7th Symphony Elegy by Jon Batiste 💬 What Brandi loves most about working at CIE: "The combination of purpose-driven work, opportunities for creativity, and meaningful connections makes working at the CIE a transformative experience. The CIE fosters innovation and collaboration, which encourages me to bring new ideas to the table and work alongside passionate students, faculty, and community partners.” 🎉 Favorite CIE Program/Event: “MECCA, of course! MECCA serves as the co-curricular gateway for students, staff, and faculty at Harris-Stowe State University to explore entrepreneurship for the first time. Together, we cultivate a foundation rooted in the entrepreneurial mindset and equip participants with essential resources. This foundation empowers them to seamlessly transition into entrepreneurship courses within the Anheuser-Busch School of Business and pursue advanced training and opportunities through the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.” Let’s shout out Brandi in the comments and celebrate all the incredible work she does for our CIE family! 💛 #harrisstowecie #entrepreneurship #innovation #leadershipspotlight #communityimpact #ciefamily
