  • We 💚 our Hudson River Park volunteers! Every weed you pull, bulb you plant, pound of compost you process and piece of plastic you remove from our shorelines helps create a cleaner, greener Park for everyone to enjoy. This #WeekOfThanks, we’re celebrating the generosity and dedication of this community of individuals and businesses. We also share a special thank you to Citi our Volunteer Program’s Presenting Sponsor, whose support enables us to continue connecting New Yorkers to their west side backyard. To all our volunteers, we’re so grateful for all you do to keep our Park thriving! 🌳🙌

  • This fall volunteers from Bloomberg planted bulbs all across the northern part of the Park. Volunteer support always plays a key role in helping HRPK’s horticulture team keep our four miles looking great, and that’s especially true this time of year. In fall hardworking volunteers like these plant thousands of bulbs that will bring abundant color and beauty to our garden beds in the spring. 🌷🌷#BloombergService #ImpactinAction

  • Hudson River Park’s 400 protected acres in the Hudson River — and the environmental research, habitat restoration and public education we do to support this vital estuary habitat — are a huge part of what makes this blue and green space so unique and important. Every year, our River Project team provides STEM education to thousands of NYC students, engages science lovers of all ages, leads habitat restoration efforts and conducts research to better understand the Park sanctuary waters and our efforts to improve them. Join the Stream of Support that makes this vital work possible. When you donate to Hudson River Park Friends, you'll be able to dedicate your donation to a native species currently living in our waters: sturgeons, oysters, seahorses or crabs. Plus all donations up to $25,000 will be matched by a Friends Board member! Donate and cause a ripple! https://lnkd.in/eJww7vmM

  • Throughout the year, Goldman Sachs volunteers have helped keep Hudson River Park’s green and blue spaces clean, healthy and beautiful as well as supporting Park sustainability and research initiatives. From removing plastics from Gansevoort Peninsula to helping our River Project team monitor oysters to helping out in our compost center to this week’s project, planting bulbs in our Tribeca gardens, these dedicated volunteers have made an impact throughout the Park. A big thank you to all our 2024 Goldman Sachs volunteers!

  • In honor of #ClimateWeek last week, volunteers from Pfizer, Shiseido and Warner Bros. Discovery helped out with fall plantings and cleanup in Park gardens and green spaces from Tribeca to Chelsea that will help keep Hudson River Park healthy and beautiful for all who enjoy it. Urban green spaces like ours are key resources in mitigating the impacts of climate change, and we’re so grateful to the community of volunteers and supporters who ensure this resource thrives for NYC, now and in the future. Thanks, Climate Week volunteers!
