Thanks Andrew McCaskill for this important reminder! I remember I was at the Great Girlfriend’s Summit (shout out to Brandice Daniel and Sybil Clark-Amuti) and I mentioned on a panel that I had acquired an employment lawyer very early in my career and there was an audible gasp. I learned of the power of negotiation and retaining representation from observing and learning from one of the most powerful and most successful woman in my life…my godmother Margaret Daniels Tyler. There shouldn’t be any mystery or gatekeeping about compensation advocacy. Huge shout out to the incredible women like Lisa Davis Constance Cannon Frazier Susie Nam Michele T Ghee Nicole Martine Hall Tina Wells Justine Song Henning who have served as steadfast advocates for me throughout my career 💪🏾👊🏾 #wherethewealthresides
