Notes from Nadir's Gait Analysis ⬇️ Nadir Yusuf is a professional runner for Minnesota Distance Elite and he came into Human Powered Health's Edina location for a gait analysis and other benchmark testing for his training. For his running form specifically we found that he doesn't have enough knee drive or forward lean in his stance. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but he ends up compensating for this with a very high cadence of 180+ steps per minute. Coming out of the gait analysis he started to do banded exercises and A-skip, B-skips to improve his form and overall efficiency as a runner. He won't see these changes happen over night, but in time he'll find these drills will make him a better runner and reduce his risk of injury as he continues striving for new PR's!

Precision training for the podium 🏅 Alayna Sonnesyn of Team Birkie tackled her pre-season prep at our Edina Performance Lab, diving into VO2max, lactate, force-plate and hydration tests to refine her training plan. Powered by data-driven insights, she's fine tuning her body for maximum endurance and power, preparing to push the limits on the race course as she chases her best season yet!

The Academy of Holy Angels football team leveraged performance data to stay healthy and maximize their potential on the field this season, resulting in a state tournament appearance.
