❄️ My Take on Hummingbird's Winter Product Update ❄️ As CEO, I have the privilege of seeing our team’s work come to life – the momentum becomes tangible, and we love shipping valuable new features to our customers. But our Winter Product Update isn’t just about adding features; it’s about solving real-world challenges for compliance teams and setting a new standard for what’s possible in our industry. Here's my take on each of the updates: 🔹 SAR Narrative AI This is a big step forward in combining AI and compliance in a thoughtful, SAFE way. We designed it to assist—not replace—investigators. Whether you’re using snippets to refine sections of a narrative or drafting a first pass, this tool is about empowering teams to focus on what they do best: fighting financial crime. And yes, real financial institutions are using it (Banks and Fintech)! 🔹 Productivity Analytics I’m thrilled to see this feature go live because it addresses the most popular request from our customers as they seek program efficiency. It’s more than metrics—it’s actionable insights to help leaders optimize their programs and support their teams. Hearing positive feedback from our design partners during development was a clear sign we’re on the right track. 🔹 Better Custom Fields Our "Other Info" functionality is used to extend the Hummingbird data schema, and one of our most-used features. The new Custom Fields represent the next generation of customization, allowing you to extend Hummingbird to meet the unique needs of your investigations. Very flexible and based on years of feedback. 🔹 Enhanced APIs Our expanded API capabilities give tech teams granular control, making Hummingbird an even more powerful partner for integration and automation. We've always been a modular player that integrates well with others, and these new endpoints open deep new integration possibilities. 🔹 The Small but Mighty Upgrades From small-screen support to SCIM user management and data import templates, these refinements are about making everyday tasks easier and more efficient. Sometimes the little things make a big difference. What excites me most about this update is that it reflects our commitment to building tools that work for compliance professionals. Every feature is informed by the real-world challenges we hear from these teams, and we’ll continue to prioritize that kind of collaboration.
