Yesterday, I had the honor of presenting a pitch for the Mike Hunt Construction Sprints Hult Prize competition, alongside my team and fellow ASCE members. Our project focuses on integrating recyclable glass into housing construction, with the goal of creating more sustainable and eco-friendly housing solutions. I’m excited to share that our team will be advancing to the national competition in Boston on March 22nd! This has been a unique and rewarding experience—not only for the opportunity to present, but also witnessing NMSU's civil engineering students find and present their innovative and sustainable solutions for our community.
