Hutchison Ports arrived on Grand Bahama Island in 1996 to conduct a feasibility study confirming yet another location to do business. In 1997, Hutchison Ports FCP operations commenced. Not only did the group find the ideal location for a transshipment terminal, they further invested in the harbour, the airport, significant land holdings, and the island’s largest resort property. Hutchison Ports is the port and related services division of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (CK Hutchison).
