Grace Arbor and College Grove residents, along with Salvation Army and Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative representatives, came together to dream up a new community park on the field in front of the Salvation Army. Their Vision? To create "a safe and inviting space to bring together all members of our community." Exciting plans were discussed and a first draft concept was reviewed. 🤩 Exciting Update from SW Bricktown Neighborhood and Hutch Rec's Healthy Neighborhood Initiative! Last night's walking meeting on W. Ave. B street was a success with 14 attendees, including several people from the City of Hutchinson: our interim City Manager Mary Grace Clements, and Council members Greg Fast, and Steve Garza. Several lighting options were explored for the 400 block of W. Ave. B, which including potential installation across from Avenue A School's angle parking.
