  • It’s Forklift Friday! Today we are proud to feature Camila Rocha, Cost Analyst. Camila recently celebrated 10 years with Hyster-Yale and works in our Itu, Brazil. location.     What do you do in your position?   “In my role, I am responsible for analyzing reports, working directly with the production area to ensure everything is in line with expectations. I also manage E&O (Excess & Obsolete), seeking sales opportunities for items that would otherwise be discarded, thus preventing losses and providing financial returns. Additionally, I encourage my colleagues to engage in these actions, always working as a team to achieve the best results for the company."   What do you like most about Hyster-Yale?     “What I enjoy most about working at Hyster Yale is the constant learning and challenge. The company offers a family-like environment where we can rely on one another and work together to achieve our goals. It also provides me the opportunity to build relationships with people from different cultures, which greatly enriches both my work and personal development. Here, I’ve found a place that offers continuous growth and has always believed in my potential, challenging me to be better every day." What is some advice you’d give? “My best advice is to never stop learning and always be willing to step out of your comfort zone. I’ve learned that professional growth comes through challenges, and it’s important to face them with courage and dedication. Investing in yourself, whether through courses, new projects, or even new experiences within the company, is essential. Additionally, valuing teamwork and building good relationships with those around you is key, as success is never the result of individual effort alone. Don’t be afraid to take risks, and if you make mistakes, see them as opportunities to learn and improve." What is something you’re proud of? “One of my greatest achievements has been overcoming the challenge of starting with no experience in a corporate environment and, over the years, becoming a capable and respected professional in the cost management field. I also take great pride in the relationships I’ve built with different departments, such as production, which allows me to work in an integrated manner and directly contribute to achieving the best results." Anything else you want others to know? "I would like people to know how grateful I am for the opportunity to grow and learn at Hyster Yale. The company has given me the strength to overcome personal challenges throughout my journey, offering support in difficult times. I have great affection for the company, and my desire is to retire here, contributing to its success and growth, just as the company has contributed to mine over the years. Every day here is an opportunity to learn more, give my best, and help Hyster-Yale achieve its goals. I am very proud of my journey, and I am sure I want to continue being part of this story for many years."
