  • New line of big-sized cascade TECs destined for #CCD and #CMOS cooling.  Number of requests for deep cooling of relatively big photonic objects using all advantages of solid-state cooling technologies have been significantly increased during last years. This fact was considered by i-TEC as basic motivation for creating and delivering to the market the corresponding thermoelectric cooling solutions. We are glad to announce that i-TEC has released new line of big-sized cascade (from 2 to 6 stages) thermoelectric coolers especially designed for deep cooling of the big area objects such as CCD, CMOS and others. The new released cascade TECs covers great variety of maximum cooling capacities, temperature differences as well as electrical and dimensional characteristics.   • i-TECs implements temperature sensor integration to the cold/hot side of the TECs as standard manufacturing option.  There are two main ways of installation are mainly used in our manufacturing practice: a) Gluing of the NTC thermistor to edge of the ceramics. b) Soldering of the NTC thermistor to the internal or outside surface of the ceramics.  In this case temperature sensor is soldered to the special metallized areas which are individually implemented beforehand.  #Technology #MicroModules #Peltier #TEM #TEC #Thermoelectric #Cooling

  • I-TEC has launched production technology of the single stage and cascade micro-coolers based on Au80Sn20 alloy with melting point temperature 280C. From now all TEC nomenclature based on golden alloy is available as standard manufacturing option alongside with well-know Sn99Bi1 RoHS solder (m.p. 230C). Gold based alloy TECs advantages:   + Increased TEC processing temperature up to 260C;  + Higher maximum TEC operation temperature; + Increased TEC reliability at harsh environment conditions;
