i3 Academy is a kindergarten through ninth grade tuition-free public charter school network, serving students on three campuses in East Birmingham. We're creating a movement that's powered by, and designed for, our community. The mission of i3 Academy is to empower learners to become agents of change who solve the problems they see in their world. The idea of developing critical thinkers and problem solvers aims to create an ecosystem of leaders who invest in advancing the community in the years to come. On Tuesday, November 26th, i3 Academy was highlighted in an article by Trish Crane in Alabama Daily News titled “How Alabama schools scored on report cards: Highlights, trends and challenges.” The article specifically mentioned that i3 Academy Elementary is one of only three schools in Alabama to boost their report score by over 20 points compared to last year. We take immense pride in this accomplishment, recognizing the collective effort of our students, teachers, and families in reaching this milestone.
