The Global Moving Foundation is growing with two new Board of Directors members: Charnel Francis (Africa Mobility Services) and Taylor Heideman (Move For Hunger). 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 The Global Moving Foundation (formerly the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund) is pleased to welcome Charnel Francis of Africa Mobility Services and Taylor Heideman of Move For Hunger to its Board of Directors. Angela DeConti, Director of the Global Moving Foundation Board, stated that increasing the board from nine to eleven members was a crucial step in the foundation’s rebranding and bylaw revisions, aligning with its expanded mission. Charnel Francis brings over 28 years of experience in the international moving industry, offering invaluable global insight to the foundation. She was also recognized as the 2024 recipient of the IAM Leadership Alliance Council’s Excellence in Leadership Award. Taylor Heideman has been with Move For Hunger for three years, leading corporate social responsibility efforts within the logistics sector while advocating for hunger and food waste reduction. She also has experience in workforce development initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for young adults.
