‘Adapt to adopt’ Deze week is het IASSIDD 2024 Congress in Chicago. Samen met Linda Schumm en Esther Bisschops presenteerde ik ons symposium over het overbruggen van de ‘implementation gap’ in de zorg voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking. Waarbij ik met mijn presentatie inzoomde op de aanpassingen die zijn gedaan aan de kernelementen van het GOUD beweegprogramma om het te implementeren in de dagelijkse zorg en wat de reden van deze aanpassingen is. - This week is the IASSIDD 2024 Congress in Chicago. Together with Linda Schumm and Esther Bisschops, I presented our symposium on bridging the ‘implementation gap’ in care for people with intellectual disabilities. My presentation zoomed in on the adaptations that were made on the key elements of a physical activity program to implement it in daily practice, and what is the reasoning behind these adaptations.
