W dniu 22 listopada 2024 miał miejsce XXII Zjazd Stowarzyszenia Absolwentów Budownictwa Wodnego i Gospodarki Wodnej Politechniki Warszawskiej. W trakcie Zjazdu którego Piotr Śliwiński - Przewodniczący Polski Komitet Wielkich Zapór (POLCOLD) wygłosił referat pt.: „Odporność polskich zapór na zjawiska ekstremalne - powódź 2024”. Referat był okazją do otwarcia ciekawej dyskusji dotyczącej ostatniej powodzi w Polsce. Stowarzyszenie Absolwentów Budownictwa Wodnego i Gospodarki Wodnej Politechniki Warszawskiej powstało w 2002 i zrzesza absolwentów Wydziału, który od 2015 roku nosi nazwę Wydział Instalacji Budowlanych, Hydrotechniki i Inżynierii Środowiska Politechniki Warszawskiej, przy czym od 1917 zmieniała się ona kolejno: 🎓 Wydział Inżynierii Wodnej (1917 - 1934), 🎓 Wydział Inżynierii z Oddziałem Budownictwa Wodnego i Melioracji (1934 - 1939), 🎓 Wydział Inżynierii Wodnej (1939 - 1951) 🎓 Wydział Budownictwa Wodnego (1951 - 1960) 🎓 Wydział Inżynierii Sanitarnej i Wodnej (1961-1994) 🎓 Wydział Inżynierii Środowiska (1994-2015) W historii Wydziału znajdziemy takie nazwiska jak: Karol Pomianowski (https://lnkd.in/g5rxkyzj) , Mieczysław Rybczyński (https://lnkd.in/dyf2B_yN) , Czesław Skotnicki (https://lnkd.in/g7_XtzFh). The EWG on Penstocks and Pressure Shafts is organizing a workshop on the 21st of November in TU Graz. The workshop can also be attended online. Registration is until this Friday, the 15th of November!
