Dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses in Idaho
About us
The Idaho Entrepreneur Center (formerly RBDC) is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Idaho, including managing entrepreneurial programs for municipalities. The Idaho Entrepreneur Center was formed in August of 2024 from the Research and Business Development Center (RBDC). Since 2014, the Research and Business Development Center's mission was to provide undergraduate students with meaningful work experience to better prepare them for careers and life. The RBDC accelerated professional growth and provided tangible experience for over 8,000 students, while working with nearly 600 businesses in the last decade. The Idaho Entrepreneur Center offers a comprehensive suite of entrepreneurial programs aims to provide resources and guidance to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey, including the following: 1. Entrepreneur Edge Program -An invaluable bundle of all our business resources at an affordable cost to get your business up and running. 2. Entrepreneur Boot Camp -In six weeks, learn from seasoned entrepreneurs who have already navigated this path and craft a detailed business roadmap. 3. Entrepreneur Launch Program -A tailor-made program for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are seeking funding and strategic guidance to propel their businesses forward. Additionally, our co-work space will offer a collaborative environment where innovative ideas can flourish. We will host Networking Nights to facilitate valuable connections within the business community. Our research projects will deliver actionable insights without requiring a significant time investment from business clients. In the coming months, we hope to expand our reach to all Eastern Idaho, and we will offer entrepreneurial support to surrounding municipalities. The Idaho Entrepreneur Center can supplement what municipalities already have in place by providing the following: Business incubators/accelerators, Support systems, and Education and training.

"[B]eing able to be "scholarshipped" into the Entrepreneur Bootcamp has been such an incredible blessing for me, and I just really want to say thank you. I am so thankful for the space that class provides. Class reminds me what it's like to be a creator. It gives me tools to try one more thing to keep on going. It creates hope. I am so thankful to be reminded of the spirit of an entrepreneur. For me, it is about learning to be comfortable with becoming and growing and constantly changing. Being comfortable that there isn't a moment of success, that it isn't a final destination. It seems more true that success is a continual process of test, test and change."
