Infectious Disease decision-support tools and Alert systems to build climate Resilience to emerging health Threats

About us

As our planet heats up due to climate change, outbreaks of zoonotic infectious diseases will increase and expand to other parts of the world. IDAlert aims to tackle this emergence and transmission of zoonotic pathogens by integrating #climatechange, #EcoHealth and #OneHealth perspectives. The consortium, made up of 19 partners in Europe, the UK and Bangladesh, will develop indicators, early warning systems, tools for policy and decision-makers, and adaptation and mitigation strategies to build a more resilient Europe to emerging health threats. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe programme under Grant Agreement n° 101057554. This consortium consists of: • Umeå University • Benaki Phytopathological Institute (BPI) • Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona • Irideon SL • Universitat Pompeu Fabra • Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon • Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg (UKHD) • CMCC Foundation - Centro Euro Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici • Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre • Erasmus MC • Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas • Barcelona Supercomputing Center • Leipzig University • Three o'clock • National Veterinary Institute, Sweden • International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh • Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona - ASPB • Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change & the Environment
