We are pleased to announce that 2025 IEEE 20th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM2025) will take place in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada on 20-23 July 2025 (two days after IEEE AP-S/URSI 2025 in Ottawa, Canada). This will be a great forum to share your latest research. We sincerely invite you to submit three-page full papers for this symposium by 17 January, 2025. Papers will be reviewed by 1 March 2025 and final papers are due by 1 April 2025. Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers for the technical program should be technical and not proprietary by nature. IEEE AP-S Student Travel Grant Applications for 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas & Propagation and North American Radio Science Meeting (AP-S/URSI 2025 Ottawa, Canada) The grant provides partial financial support for students planning to travel and attend the IEEE AP-S/URSI International Symposium to be held in July 2025, in Ottawa, Canada. This travel grant program will provide awards (each with the amount of 1000 USD) for 30 students. The awards should be used to partially pay for the in-person conference attendance expenses (tickets, hotel accommodation, transportation, registration fee, etc.). To qualify for the grant: Applicants to the general category must be first- or second-year PhD students conducting their research in the IEEE AP-S areas of interest during the time of their applications. [Frequency-Diverse Reflection Metasurface Antenna Design for Computational Microwave Imaging] Aobo Li, Mengran Zhao, Dónal Patrick Lynch, Shitao Zhu, Muhammad Ali Babar Abbasi and Okan Yurduseven propose the design of a computational microwave imaging (CMI) oriented frequency-diverse reflection metasurface antenna (FDRMA). Designing a FDRMA for CMI requires a careful synthesis framework, from the topology of metamaterial elements to the statistical analyses of the metasurface and the evaluation of its CMI performance. Consequently, they begin with an investigation of different metamaterial element topologies with the aim to choose the optimal one to constitute a desired reflection metasurface. The FDRMA is then designed by randomly distributing the metamaterial elements with diverse structural parameters. The orthogonality of the reflected field patterns is investigated by means of a spatial-correlation evaluation and a singular value decomposition.
