With 25 years in academia before transitioning to industry, he played a key role in establishing VVDN's RF capabilities. A BOYSCAST fellow at the University of Michigan and ICTP Regular Associate Awardee, he is a Distinguished Lecturer and Senior Member of IEEE Electron Device Society, serving as an SRC Vice-Chair for IEEE EDS. Dr. Panda has published over 100 SCI-indexed papers, guided 16 PhD students, and contributed significantly to 5G base station development, powering over 9000 towers in Odisha. He has authored over 130 peer-reviewed papers and coauthored books on UWB-MIMO technology and neural networks for antennas. His research focuses on antenna array signal processing, soft-computing in electromagnetics, CAD for patch antennas, EMI, and EMC. Dr. Patnaik is a Life Member of ISTE and has received awards including the IETE Sir J.C. Bose Award, URSI Young Scientist Award, and BOYSCAST Fellowship. He was the IEEE AP-S Region-10 Distinguished Speaker (2015–2016) and served as Chair of the IEEE Roorkee Subsection (2015–2017). He earned his B.Tech from UCE Burla, Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela, and Post-Doctoral Studies at McGill University, Canada. Dr. Samantaray has published 119 peer-reviewed journals and 63 conference proceedings, with over 5934 citations and an h-index of 42. A Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IET, Member of NASI, and Fellow of the National Academy of Engineering (FNAE), he has received awards like the IEEE PES Chapter Outstanding Engineer Award and NASI-SCOPUS Young Scientists Award. We are pleased to announce that 2025 IEEE 20th International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM2025) will take place in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada on 20-23 July 2025 (two days after IEEE AP-S/URSI 2025 in Ottawa, Canada). This will be a great forum to share your latest research. We sincerely invite you to submit three-page full papers for this symposium by 17 January, 2025. Papers will be reviewed by 1 March 2025 and final papers are due by 1 April 2025. Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers for the technical program should be technical and not proprietary by nature. ANTEM2025 promotes the merging of Academic, Engineering and Manufacturing aspects of Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics. Sponsors and providers of commercial products are welcome to participate in the exhibition with promotional displays, promotional presentations and technical papers that show test data or field operations.
