  • In today’s fast-changing world, a growth mindset isn’t just nice to have—it’s essential. Here’s why: 1. See challenges as opportunities: Growth comes from trying, failing, and trying again. 2. Embrace lifelong learning: Effort and persistence lead to improvement. 3. Celebrate progress, not perfection: Small steps add up to big wins over time. As leaders, fostering a growth mindset in ourselves and our teams creates workplaces full of creativity, resilience, and success. 💭 What’s one way you’ll embrace a growth mindset this year? Check out my latest BrainWaves newsletter to learn more about how a growth mindset can transform your career and life in 2025! Let’s grow together!

On January 01, 2024, I sent a letter to my future self. This is what I wrote. Dear Utkarsh, As you reflect on 2024, you would have done a lot of things. I cannot predict right now what you would have changed for yourself, your loved ones and your clients, but make sure that you focussed on the following three things. 1. Your Health is the most important element of a successful year - focus on it. You would have completed the Melbourne half-marathon - soak it up as you run into MCG on your final mile! Eat healthy because if you speak about personal growth and you are not fit yourself - that is a big gap! 2. Family and Friends are extremely important and make sure you spend time with them and choose them. Remember, choosing them does not mean not choosing your work. It is never an OR situation - it is always an AND situation. 3. Be committed to your clients and coachees - they trust you with their mindset, beliefs and emotions - be your best to them. I am hopeful you would have completed a few successful India trips and would have had 1,000+ coaching sessions through the year. Oh, and be true to your values. Love, Utkarsh --- This past year has been one of growth, resilience, and reflection. Here are the 12 highlights for the 12 months - January - Created goals for 2024 and systems that will allow me to succeed February - Led virtual workshops for Voya India March - Gave a TEDx at the TEDxMornington stage April - Hired full time employees for IgnitedNeurons May - Had my parents visit us from India and had my first workshop for a client in Australia - thank you Special Care Australia June - Had a blast with my sister visiting us in Australia - also saw my son perform at the Melbourne Convention Centre with his Jazz Ensemble July - Spoke to 100 people at the HRD Australia workshop on what does it mean to be a Great Leader August - Led amazing workshops for Ambak, Benori and Lirik Inc. September - Filmed my 25th Podcast interview of 2024! October - Ran my personal best at the Melbourne Half Marathon - 2 hours and 9 minutes November - Led an eventful 2 day workshop with Wholsum Foods (Slurrp Farm and Millé) and met some amazing folks on my trip to India - Indranil Sen, Yamini Gupta, Tara Mall, and more! December - Launched a podcast with the amazing Alisa Cohn (Goosebumps!!!) Took a break from work - watched my first Test match at the MCG! The three words for 2024 were Systems. Sales. Solid Team. For 2025 - my one word is Collaboration. As I end the year, here is my speaker reel! I hope we can find a way to partner in 2025! To my connections here on LinkedIn: Thank you for being part of my journey. Your support, insights, and kindness remind me of the power of shared purpose. Here’s to a new year filled with growth, connection, and love—for yourself and for others. Let’s make 2025 a year we’ll be proud of. What are you looking forward to in the year ahead? 💬 Drop a comment—I’d love to know. Happy New Year!

Is it really worth it if it costs you your peace? The job, the opportunity, the relationship—it might look good on paper, but at what cost? Life will always come with its challenges. That’s a given. But sacrificing your inner calm for something temporary? That’s a price too high to pay. Here’s how I know it’s time to walk away: 1️⃣ You begin to doubt your own worth. When you start questioning if you’re enough or feel the need to prove your value constantly, it’s a red flag. Your self-worth is non-negotiable. 2️⃣ You’re shrinking to fit in. If you feel like you’re dimming your light—hiding parts of who you are just to belong—it’s not the right environment for you. You deserve spaces where you can shine unapologetically. 3️⃣ You dread facing another day. If waking up feels like a weight and anxiety takes over your mornings, ask yourself: Is this really worth holding onto? 4️⃣ You’ve lost touch with yourself. When you no longer recognize the person in the mirror, it’s time to pause. Reflect. Reconnect with the real you. 5️⃣ It’s robbing you of sleep. If you’re lying awake at night, heart racing and mind spiraling, listen to your body—it’s trying to tell you something. Walking away doesn’t mean you’ve failed. In fact, it’s one of the strongest, most courageous choices you can make. You deserve better. You deserve peace. You deserve a life that feels aligned and fulfilling. If any of this resonates, it might be time to ask yourself: Is it time to let go? Over to you: What’s one thing you’ve let go of recently to protect your peace? 💬 ♻️ Repost it to help someone protect their peace. 🔔 Follow Utkarsh Narang for more!

What does it take to be a REAL man? A few weeks ago, Indranil Sen reached out to me and asked if IgnitedNeurons could lead a session for International Men's Day. We thought about it and the question I asked the team - What does it take to be a REAL man? Here's what emerged - R - Resilience is a trait that allows us to find opportunity in adversity E - Express openly because until you do, no one understands you A - Acknowledge your emotions, the gaps and the challenges L - Level Up, every day, every week and every year! As we built this, we realised that this applies not only to men but to every human being! Thanks, Indranil, for the nudge! If we can bring our thought leadership to your organisation, please reach out. :)

When is the perfect time? The answer is: there isn’t one. We often overthink, waiting for the stars to align or for the “right” moment. Life isn’t Zepto delivering everything in 10 minutes or Shaadi.com promising a “var” overnight. The best opportunities don’t come gift-wrapped—they show up when you drive in and make the most of them. At IgnitedNeurons, we focus on helping you grow—not when the time is perfect, but when you’re ready to start. So, stop waiting, start doing, and remember: it’s okay to have a little fun along the way. What’s one thing you’ve been waiting on? Let’s talk about it. If this resonates with you, repost it ♻️ 🔔Follow Utkarsh Narang for more insights on life and leadership
