Today we are highlighting Advertising student Tomi Dugbo for her involvement in organizing the highly successful Corbin Bleu event! 🎉 Tomi is an ADV major, one of the co-leaders of the brand consults program, and Director of Enriching Programs for the Illini Union Board. Within this position, she is responsible for bringing speakers to campus to engage and enrich the student body, as well as budgeting, contract negotiation, marketing, event planning, and leading a team of 10. For the last week's event with Corbin Bleu, Tomi said "we chose him because we knew students would connect with his career and enjoy hearing his experiences." Through this Director role, she is able to build off of her advertising education by creating engaging promotional events to build awareness and ensure the event’s success.
