Love one child. Change the world.

About us

Imana Kids is an educational sponsorship program serving the orphans and vulnerable children of Rwanda. Started in 2013, a group of American volunteers connected with the street kids of Kimisagara, a district in the capital city, Kigali, Rwanda. We match American families with students; sponsor families provide fees for tuition, medical care and community support. Students write letters, send grade cards and communicate regularly online with their sponsor families. Additionally, sponsors have opportunities to visit Rwanda and spend face time with their sponsor child. Imana Kids is currently launching our first Capital Campaign to purchase land where we can build our own trauma-informed school and family centered, foster care village. Join us in changing the lives of the children of Rwanda!
