Q4 brought a ton of highlights for the IMMERSE Research team!
Q4 was another productive time for our Research Team at IMMERSE, and I'm excited to share our most recent research report, which includes some of the highlights from the past few months. While I encourage you to check out our full report below, here are some key takeaways: ● We welcomed a new partnership with Southern Connecticut State University, who will conduct a research study with Spanish learners during the Spring 2025 semester. ● University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign found that students using IMMERSE were 16.1% more motivated to learn Spanish and outperformed their peers by 7.5% on final oral exams. ● Purdue University discovered that IMMERSE improved English learners' speaking skills by 24%, including a 25% increase in fluency, a 38% boost in vocabulary, and improvements in pronunciation (11%) and grammar (26%). ● Seven of our research partners presented their work at Meta's inaugural #MetaforEducation Summit in Menlo Park, CA. ● Our partners published seven new research articles.
