Impact3D Incorporated, founded by Nicholas Callegari ’25, is revolutionizing 3D printing with a bold new approach. After leaving his role as a mechanical engineer at SpaceX, Nick came to Yale SOM with a vision to launch a social impact venture. He established Impact3D to create an advanced construction 3D printer designed to produce sustainable, affordable housing and tackle the global housing crisis. The startup aims to drive down costs and reduce environmental impact by rethinking construction methods, starting with communities like New Haven, where affordable housing is a pressing need.
