Helping parents help kids -- if you don't know where to start, start here… When things get tough and you're not sure where to start, try this: begin with acknowledgment. Whether your child is frustrated, angry, or upset, simply recognizing their feelings can make all the difference. “I can see that’s really frustrating for you.” It’s not about blame or pointing fingers—it's about understanding. Acknowledgment opens the door to connection, no matter their age. It helps shift the focus from conflict to support. It lets people know that they are seen. And from there? You can help guide them toward self-regulation, teaching them how to manage those big emotions. 👉 What’s one way you can start with acknowledgement today? #adhd #adhdawareness #adhdparenting #adhdsupport
