About us
The IPA was founded 23 years ago by a group of immigrant pharmacists who were in search of a social outlet to exchange ideas and concerns. By creating a network of individuals sharing many commonalities, the IPA was able to build itself into an organization whose fundamentals were found on unity and cooperation. As an organization, the goal of the IPA is to be politically active within the Pharmacy profession to voice questions and concerns as well as aid the coming generations in their career endeavors. The ever expanding IPA has recently begun to establish a national chapter. State chapters in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles have taken an active role in creating a united IPA across the country. Throughout its endeavors, the IPA has been recognized as a force in the progression of the pharmacy world. In 2012 The IPA received a President’s Award from the California Pharmacist Association (CPhA)
