✨ Two of our projects are getting some love on ByDesign TV! 💫 We're so excited to see the Royal Sonesta Hotels in Chicago and Tempo by Hilton Times Square featured in the premiere episode. The Royal Sonesta’s art collection really brings Chicago to life—local artists, pieces that capture the city’s vibe and nature, and a cozy, “living room” feel where every piece tells a story. On the other hand, Tempo TSX captures the energy of Times Square with modern, bold art that brings the city’s pulse into the hotel. Art that you can wear? That’s what Art & Sole was all about—where our guests’ inspirations were transformed into custom sneaker art! The Indiewalls team hosted 50 leaders in hospitality at Arlo Midtown, giving each guest a pair of custom-painted sneakers by Mikaela Henderson. Guests sent their inspirations ahead of time—think The Grand Budapest Hotel, Basquiat, and Kandinsky—showing just how imaginative our clients are. One client even referenced his favorite hotel room design! Mikaela’s artwork turned their ideas into incredible, one-of-a-kind designs. The event was filled with artistic moments, from the personalized sneakers to art from Valero Doval on tote bags and art by Urszula Gogol the Indiewalls team curated for Arlo Hotels Midtown A huge thank you to our guests from firms like Gensler, HOK, CBRE, and more who made it such an inspiring experience. Events like Art & Sole remind us why we’re passionate about connecting people through art. What would your dream sneaker inspiration be?

How do you capture that vibrant energy of Times Square and turn it into art? At Tempo by Hilton Times Square, the answer hangs right above you. In the main lobby, Shuster & Moseley’s suspended glass installation reflects and refracts light, mimicking the lively glow of Times Square.✨ For Tempo, these 'look up' moments aren’t just about visuals—they’re about pulling people away from their screens and into the present. By drawing the eye upward, these installations create moments of wonder, just like Times Square does. Indiewalls has helped create these 'look up' moments for Tempo in several properties, blending creativity with complex technical capabilities to bring ambitious art installations to life.   🎉 Exciting news! Our very own Natalie Dudyk, Director of Sales Operations, will be at the Sausalito Congress this October 20-22 at Cavallo Point! Natalie has been helping award-winning hotels and boutique properties transform their spaces with custom art. Fun fact: She’s been diving into California’s wine culture and taking classes—perfect for a chat about art and wine while at the event! Independent Lodging Congress

Imagine freezing the perfect whiskey pour, capturing that golden moment mid-flow, and suspending it in mid-air. Now, look up at the Tempo by Hilton Louisville, and you’ll see it come to life. 🥃✨ That’s what artist Ashley Nardone achieved with her stunning sculpture, 'Smooth Finish.' Suspended in the lobby, the piece honors Louisville’s whiskey heritage. From glass bubbles that mimic droplets to amber hues shifting in the light, every detail evokes the richness of a perfect pour. Indiewalls worked closely with Ashley and the teams at Hilton, K2M Design, and Benjamin West to make sure every element reflected Louisville’s spirit. The result? A captivating 'Look Up Moment' that connects guests to the city’s story through art. We’re proud of this collaboration and can’t wait for you to experience it in person!

🏈 As football season kicks into high gear, we’re reminded of a hotel that has the spirit of the sport at the center of the design. Now, we may not all root for the same team, but we can’t help but love the story and beauty behind this property. It’s a reminder of how art connects us all—especially when it brings the excitement of football season to life! Located just steps from the University of Tennessee, the Graduate Hotels Knoxville is more than just a hotel; it’s a celebration of local tradition and community. We had the pleasure of working with UT alum Marshall Ramsey to create headboard illustrations that capture the energy of Game Day and the serene beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Paired with thoughtful touches like a nostalgic photo of the legendary quarterback Peyton Manning and his former coach, Phillip Fulmer, the space reflects the deep-rooted pride of the Vols. At Indiewalls, projects like this show how art can go beyond aesthetics—it can connect people with the places (and the sports!) they love.
