This Thanksgiving, we're celebrating the innovations that make a real difference for ag businesses. One standout example this fall? Indigo Ag’s CLIPS device, a revolutionary new way to apply FP products. We asked John Martin, Owner of Integrated Seed Solutions in Illinois, how the device has impacted his business. This season, we’re thankful for partnerships like John’s—and for tools that help farmers and retailers alike. Learn more about how CLIPS is making a difference: https://indigo.bz/3M9X8y0 Happy Thanksgiving from Indigo Ag! 🦃

The Sustainable Agriculture Summit was buzzing with insights about moving from broad goals to actionable strategies in sustainable agriculture. Here’s what stood out to our team: 📍 From Vision to ROI 📍 We know the same regenerative practice doesn't have the same impact everywhere. Leveraging dynamic, visual tools based on science can help companies transition from vision to meaningful ROI. Our capabilities enable more confident reporting and allow companies to make science-based decisions to achieve science-based targets. 💧 Co-Benefits as more than ‘just’ Co-Benefits 💧 While GHG emissions reductions and removals are essential, we know that co-benefits like water stewardship, biodiversity, soil erosion prevention, and animal health are just as indispensable to a healthy and thriving ecosystem. The Indigo team was motivated to see the focus on this topic, and are excited to bring quantified Nature outcomes into more programs. 🐄 Opportunities in Dairy & Beef 🐄 Dairy and beef represent enormous opportunities in Scope 3 strategies. Indigo is here to help build integrated regenerative grazing and feed solutions. 🤝 Collaboration is Key 🤝 Supply chains are increasingly acting as teams, with stakeholders eager to co-invest in infrastructure and programs that scale sustainable solutions. Indigo is well-positioned to help connect these dots and identify innovative funding solutions — across value chains, sectors, and types of claims. 💸 Strengthening Supply Chains by Empowering Growers 💸 Growers remain at the center of these conversations. With Indigo's suite of sustainability solutions, we can empower growers to enhance productivity, adopt sustainable practices, and strengthen the resilience and reliability of agriculture supply chains. Just before SAS, we announced a strategic collaboration with Truterra, LLC to accelerate the adoption of agricultural sustainability solutions — a perfect example of the collaborative spirit defining this moment in sustainable ag. Excitement is building as the industry shifts from vision to action. Together, we’re shaping a more sustainable future! 🌍 Our message to COP29 🌍 As COP29 approaches, we’re urging leaders in Baku to prioritize value chain emission reductions and removals in climate action plans. Our letter calls for increased awareness and action on Scope 3 emissions, supportive policies, additional investment incentives, and more to drive meaningful progress. The message is clear: impactful, sustainable change is needed across industries to tackle the climate crisis. Let’s make sure these priorities are heard at COP29. This letter has been developed with insights from VCI members, however the contents may not reflect the individual views of all members. This week, our Head of Sustainability Science, A.J. (Ashok) Kumar, took the stage at the New England Aquarium to reflect on the remarkable progress of our carbon credit program since his TEDx talk this time last year. Back then, we celebrated reaching 133,000 soil carbon credits—a pivotal step in transforming agriculture into a climate solution. Since then we’ve reached nearly 300,000 soil carbon credits and we’re on the path to megatons of climate impact. 🚪🌾 This isn’t just a vision—it’s a repeatable, predictable, and scalable reality. With high quality credits driving more dollars per impact to farmers, we’re seeing money being reinvested in rural communities and farms to make them even more impactful. Together, we’re proving agriculture has the power to lead the way toward a more sustainable future and can deliver scaled carbon removals 🌍✨

Company leaders say this partnership aims to simplify, standardize and bring scalability. In the past three years, Indigo Ag has produced $16 million in sustainability program payments to farmers—$10 million of which was from carbon offsets. In the first three years, Truterra paid over $21 million to farmers for the sequestration and reduction of over 1.1 million metric tons of carbon. In that same time, the value of a carbon credit per ton has risen from $15-$20 to now $60-$80. https://lnkd.in/gzqGxcpY

🌎 With the clock ticking toward 2030 climate goals, Business Reporter shares how we are driving a groundbreaking solution—soil carbon as a core pillar of global climate action. Our Head of Sustainability, Ewan Lamont, discusses how regenerative practices aren’t just an agricultural improvement; they’re the backbone of a scalable, high-quality climate solution. By generating high-integrity soil carbon credits, we empower companies to meet their net-zero commitments through nature-based solutions with proven, measurable impact. These efforts don’t just capture carbon — they restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and promote resilient crop systems. Join us in establishing soil carbon as an essential climate solution, where every acre farmed regeneratively adds to a solution that feeds the world while saving the planet. 🌱
