As an innovative marketing agency led by a founder, we think like entrepreneurs and find ways to get exponential growth and exposure. That's how we came up with an insane conference promotion concept for our upcoming debut at Austin Tech Week. INDIVISIBLE CO. will be running a contest for Startup Crawl attendees which will use new communications technology, 3D printed designs, and an irresistible grand prize worth its weight in diamonds. More details will come as we close in on the #StartupCrawl next Friday!

Many startups forget they need to connect to real people when they start marketing and selling their services and products. The default? Sell to intangible *businesses* on what their startup does, and talk ad nauseam about themselves and all they can do. Look at our capabilities, check out our features – it all sounds like "me me me." If you were on a date, the customer would dump you for being so self centered. At the early stage, startups need to understand their customer personas really well. You don't have to define all the possible personas – you just need to find the highest-fit personas that will resonate and result in the the highest response. Market and sell to those folks, and understand their needs to build a marketing and sales approach that addresses it. Here's a little demo I put together for a client of INDIVISIBLE CO. today that details out a hypothetical services company selling language courses and coaching. If the hypothetical Language Co. is based in Central America, for instance, a winning approach to connect with customers would be to focus on the benefit of career growth and helping the customers get jobs that might only be open to those with strong ESL skills (again, all hypothetical for demo purposes). You will need to create more marketing and sales content, because one-size-fits-all, in today's market, fits none. Find your ICP(s)! #ICP #personas #GTM #startupmarketing

✨ Exploring AI in Creative Production—In Just One Day ✨ I’ve just wrapped up a video using ChatGPT, Kling.ai, Eleven Labs, YouTube free stock audio, and Adobe Premiere—all from start to finish in just one day! The goal was to see how these new AI tools can speed up the creative process and bring ideas to life much faster than traditional methods, without relying on static storyboards or references. This may not be the final product, but in just one day, it's already telling a stronger story. With AI-generated humanoids and tech evolving rapidly, I’m asking even more questions about where we’re headed. What’s your take on AI in creative work? Let’s chat! #AI #CreativeProduction #Innovation #AIFuture #creativeworkflow #1DayChallenge ----- How to Create a Video in One Day Using AI: Think of an idea 💡 1- Use ChatGPT to craft perfect Kling.ai prompts for generating video content. 2- Use Kling.ai to create the videos (some ideas may be a challenge to nail, but that's part of the fun!). 3- Generate narration using Eleven Labs for that professional touch. 4- Find free music on YouTube to set the right tone and ambience. 5- Edit in Adobe Premiere—minimal color correction, quick cuts. Export, share, and start a conversation.

AI has officially destroyed sincerity in sales. I’ll prove it with one email recently sent to me as an example. I receive dozens of cold emails and messages every day offering lead gen services of some kind. But last week, I finally read a cold email for lead gen that stopped me in my tracks – and I even responded. The emailer got me. She took the time to read my LinkedIn profile. She surmised my global experience and track record. She made a clever quip that alluded to my About Me section and expertly intertwined it into a value proposition for her company's services. The whole spiel had been designed to make me feel special. This stands in stark contrast with the dozens of lame attempts I archive, delete, and angrily block every day. I received this actual message while writing this post: "I'm [REDACTED], CEO of [BORING LEAD GEN COMPANY], with a proven track record in helping people like you. I specialize in generating new leads, and my pricing is very affordable. I can demonstrate my process and showcase the results from existing clients' accounts. Can we talk?" So, her email stood out immediately. It made me feel unique. It made me think this writer had drooled over my page for an hour, thinking of the best way to sweep me off my feet. But it wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be. Having been so flattered, I took the time to respond. I thanked her for taking the time to understand me and for reading my profile. I even booked a meeting – but the meeting went to some other person’s calendar and she exited the email thread. Wait, what? That’s when I realized something was amiss. I reread the initial email and it sounded too good to be true. I checked the lead gen company’s website. Sure enough, they offered AI-powered email crafting that drew from targets' LinkedIn profiles. I shed a single tear as the value of personalization in cold outreach went to nil. This email message had been assembled by an AI bot that had reviewed my profile and combined it with a high-performing template, churning out a faux-personalization perfected to catch my attention and make me feel that special feeling. And it worked – really well. This is where connection and sincerity die for the sales world. Soon, all outbound emails will be personalized so well that you won’t know who really knows you, or who let an AI script scrape your profile and digital presence. Even before this AI-infused email tricked me into thinking I was special, it wasn’t all that different. But reps still had to get their hands dirty and pretend to know people and find them on LinkedIn, read about them, and craft something unique to get noticed. With AI doing all the work, it eliminates any remaining humanity in the practice. Even if they claim a 300% increase in response rate, and I demonstrated their case for them quite literally, it's just a trick. Wait, 300% increase in response rate for cold emails? Maybe it’s worth a try, first…

"Alexa, play Indie Acoustic" Ok, now playing Taylor Swift on Amazon Music. "NO ALEXA. Stop. Play Acoustic Chill." Ok, now playing Justin Bieber on Amazon Music. *unplugs Alexa* I'm not a Swifty, but I am a big fan of the power moves Taylor and these mainstream artists have made with Amazon music. No matter what genre I ask for - even if it's Golden Oldies or Reggae, somehow the top trending artists will work their way into the playlist on Amazon Music. Obviously, these artists aren't Indie. Taylor is the highest grossing female musician of all time and she's in her (Amazon) prime. There's nothing indie about her. These mainstream musicians are not bending genres either. It's pure pop and Alexa knows it (which is why I swear at her so much - sorry Alexa). But it must be a huge monetary deal for T Swift to place herself in every playlist you request. She even comes up on the screen in between requests - Alexa is yearning for me to play this new album. At least, Tree Paine is. The old days of radio weren't much different, so who can complain? You listened to the same 5 stations and they all played the same top 10 artists. Now, even in the era of On Demand, the wonderful folks at Amazon Music have found a way into your home - guaranteed placement and plays, if you have a billion dollar grossing tour at least. Luckily, there is one last workaround for lazy music lovers that still kinda works. "Alexa, play 90s acoustic ballads.... .....on Spotify!"

I started a new work email account last week for a project, and over the weekend I resolved to keep the inbox at ZERO for the first time in my career. That means sorting every inbound inquisition into actual folders, deleting unneeded items, and archiving everything else. It has always seemed like more work than reward to me, at least until I struggle to remember a peculiar spelling of a name or company when looking for that one email where something important was committed to text and put on the record. Outlook's search still has a long way to catch up when it comes to finding things contextually, so a proactive solution makes a lot of sense. It all comes down to putting it into practice. Has anybody else managed to achieve this Inbox Zero practice in today's spammed-out, high-volume work culture? If you have, is it worth it, or just an old habit that will die hard? Or, am I likely to abandon this practice by next week and go the way of my Gmail, which is filled with thousands of unopened junk emails in a completely unsorted mess, relying only on Starred items and basic keyword searches to find critical life-altering communications? And yes, that is my Gmail with over 21,000 unread emails. I hope it's a new record. #email #bestpractices
