Together with our partner EFESO Management Consultants, I had the privilege to visit Saudi Arabia for a presentation at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strongly emphasises boosting the manufacturing industry and clearly commits to Industry 4.0 and AI adoption. During the visit, I presented the IndustryApps platform and demonstrated how it simplifies the transformation of Industry 2.0 and 3.0 companies into AI-powered and Industry 4.0 manufacturers. I also highlighted the importance of open standards in manufacturing, such as the AAS (IDTA - Industrial Digital Twin Association), and touched on the ECLASS e.V. Standard for Semantics. It was inspiring to witness the dedication and strategic vision to elevate an entire industry to the next level of manufacturing. My special thanks to the teams at KACST and EFESO for their hospitality and collaboration.
