Our UK tech policy recommendations outline key priorities, including: ✅ A pro-innovation approach to AI and tech governance ✅ Championing international data flows ✅ Strengthening cybersecurity and critical infrastructure ✅ Deepening transatlantic cooperation on digital policy The U.S. and U.K. have a shared opportunity to set the stage for a smarter, more growth-oriented tech policy—one that drives investment, strengthens security, and ensures global competitiveness. 📖 Read more about our UK policy recommendations here: https://lnkd.in/ep9U4iB7 📖 Read Rob’s insights in Politico here: https://lnkd.in/e4T2M8Dt

Decarbonisation is not merely a matter of legislative initiative. It requires policy foresight that will enable the EU’s innovative industries to drive the continent’s sustainable transition in a competitive way. ITI, alongside twenty other trade associations, is calling on senior decisionmakers at the European Commission to re-think the EU Taxonomy Appendix C. While this Appendix has incredible potential to fuel private incentives for environmentally friendly economic engagement, as it currently stands, the file sets disproportionately high requirements that prevent European manufacturers from accessing green finance. ITI will continue to call for sustainable responsibility, lower costs, and private-public collaboration, all of which are essential for bolstering European competitiveness. ➡️ Read our letter to EU policymakers at the link here: https://lnkd.in/eybJAAhr ➡️ Read ITI’s policy recommendations for EU sustainability here: https://lnkd.in/e8MVTh27
