Another year has passed, and #mwc2024 is over. This MWC2024’s theme "Future First" addressed future challenges in connectivity. And the message was clear this year: AI will be at the heart of future growth opportunities, which will require partnerships, investment and innovation. IT players are rushing to form strategic partnerships to improve the connectivity of the future and reduce latency. During the event, I had the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in AI, 5G and IoT and after having interesting discussions with several key players in the IT ecosystem, I'd like to take a look at some of the topics of this great event: - The impact of the AI and connectivity in all fields has been clearly demonstrated: in health and well-being, in the improvement of products and services, in imaging, in video, in the media, in security, in agriculture, in industry, etc. Generative AI is emerging as a key player in shaping how we connect and live. It will transform smart factories and ease the path to smart cities while revolutionizing the user experience with personalized content and limitless mobility.  - Several innovative devices and technologies were presented, including wearable AI products, health and security, AI devices for industry and connectivity… - Technological advances in networks are also shown, with new concepts such as resilient-SIM (rSIM), OpenGW, Monetization of 5G services, AI-powered RAN, Core As Service, mobile and fixed network slicing, Edge charging and billing… MWC continue to be a show where all the players in the IT sector are expressing their commitment to create a more connected and intelligent world, demonstrate the state of the art in technology showcase future trends. Second day @ #mwc2024 A big thank you to all our visitors today. The new version of our key product SITE EXPLORER continues to attract more and more mobile/fixed operators and FTTH service providers thanks to its great capabilities in terms of the dematerialization of network data as well as network operations management and live monitoring.
