🆕 NEW SEGMENT: Black Perspectives IE with Maya Gwynn 🖤 As we close out Black History Month, we're excited to announce a partnership between the IE Black Equity Fund and KVCR Public Media. A new segment, Black Perspectives IE, launched on February 27th with civil rights attorney Joe Richardson as its first guest. 📻 Over the next six months, the program will showcase 7-8 minute segments uplifting the IE's black leaders and causes to advance racial equity. The new radio content will also promote local organizations, events, and community needs within the region. ⚖️ This week, Maya sits down with Joe Richardson, civil rights attorney and host of KVCR Public Media TV's Inland Edition. Joe shares his journey to becoming a lawyer (thanks, Matlock!), discusses how communication and bridge-building skills are essential in civil rights work, and offers advice on getting involved in social justice. He also reveals how he maintains work-life balance while tackling challenging cases. ✨ Catch the full conversation to hear Joe's insights on creating systemic change and his rapid-fire answers about favorite IE landmarks and theme songs! 🎧 Listen in at https://lnkd.in/gqHsyv7h #BlackPerspectivesIE #KVCR #CivilRights #InlandEmpire
