Innovate Hampton Roads (IHR) is a platform dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem in the Hampton Roads, Virginia, area. IHR focuses on building an ecosystem in Hampton Roads centered on growing, guiding, and connecting entrepreneurs and the technology ecosystem to build a stronger and more innovative economy in the region. The platform emphasizes inclusivity and interconnection, striving to unite various stakeholders – including aspiring entrepreneurs, students, employees, and existing businesses – to benefit the entire region. Our website showcases the efforts in connecting entrepreneurs to resources throughout Hampton Roads and features a consolidated event calendar for the area. It also highlights the entrepreneurial stories across the region and encourages community participation. IHR also maintains a business directory, which currently includes over 8,800 companies and organizations, demonstrating the breadth and diversity of the entrepreneurial landscape in Hampton Roads.
