IN² company CorePower Magnetics’s next-generation electric motor solution enhances efficiency, runs cooler, and doesn’t depend on critical rare earth materials. Their #cleantech is helping customers maximize their savings in energy costs. Be sure to check them out! 🌟
HVAC systems account for up to 40% of commercial building energy consumption, making energy-efficient solutions more critical than ever for reducing costs, maintaining comfort, and meeting sustainability goals. CorePower Magnetics nanocrystalline axial flux motor technology – which can be used for HVAC applications including air handlers, chillers, and circulation pumps – directly addresses the energy efficiency challenges facing building operators today. Advantages of CorePower's Next-Generation Electric Motor Solution: 🔶 Enhanced efficiency through drastically reduced iron losses compared to traditional silicon steel motors 🔶 Runs significantly cooler 🔶 Lean manufacturing process leading to lower production costs and enhanced scalability 🔶 No critical rare earth magnets necessary Efficiency Matters for HVAC Systems Because: 🔶 Reduces total building power demand, enabling significant utility cost savings. With 90% of the total cost of ownership for a typical motor being utility costs, even small efficiency gains mean big savings. 🔶 Wide range of high-efficiency operating points meets variable seasonal loads with minimal energy loss 🔶 Lower operating temperatures translate to extended equipment life 🔶 Improved thermal management reduces maintenance needs In an industry where every kilowatt hour counts, our technology helps you maximize comfort while minimizing energy costs. Congratulations to IN² company NeoCharge’s co-founders, CEO Spencer H., and CTO Akhil Veluru, for making Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list! This milestone is a testament to their hard work, innovation, and vision. We’re incredibly proud of their journey and can’t wait to see what exciting breakthroughs lie ahead. Keep inspiring and leading the charge in #cleanenergy! 🎉
From soldering circuit boards in a college apartment to Forbes 30 Under 30 Transportation and Mobility - what a surreal moment to share with my co-founder and brother-in-arms Akhil Veluru. We started with a simple belief: installing EV charging and electric appliances at home doesn't need to be expensive and complicated. But the journey truly tested every ounce of our conviction. Akhil lived in my closet for months on end while we poured everything into our dream. When visa issues forced him back to India, we didn't just face a business challenge - we faced the separation of two friends who'd become family. Yet somehow, those darkest moments lit our path forward. Akhil made it back to the U.S. just one month before COVID locked down the world. That same apartment where we hand-assembled our first Smart Splitters on our kitchen counter has evolved into something bigger than we could've imagined. Today, NeoCharge has helped North American families avoid almost $50M in unnecessary panel upgrades and energy costs. 2023 brought a fun new challenge: diving headfirst into software. Armed with YouTube tutorials and endless cups of coffee, I taught myself to code. The NeoCharge app emerged from those sleepless nights - not just as lines of code, but as a free tool now helping thousands of EV drivers (now integrated with 18 EV brands) save hundreds annually while reducing their carbon footprint and supporting their local grid. (Download it free Android/IOS!) This Forbes recognition isn't just about Akhil and me - it's a testament to every Advisor, investor, organization, and person who believed in two engineers with a crazy dream: To California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, who gave us our first shot. To Cleantech San Diego and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) who saw and believed in our vision before we could fully articulate it. To the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) who opened their world-class labs to us, supported critical product testing, and grant funding that helped us scale. To our families, friends, and mentors who provided endless support, wisdom, and love - from late-night pep talks to crucial introductions, you've been our backbone throughout this journey. And most importantly, to our phenomenal NeoCharge family who make our mission a reality every single day. From those first circuit boards to tens of thousands of homes, we've learned that true innovation isn't about working harder - it's about testing assumptions, building products people love, and having the audacity to question 'impossible' when others accept it as fact. To every homeowner, renter, and EV driver who has joined us on this journey: thank you for trusting us and believing in us. Excited for the new chapters ahead. #Forbes30Under30 #CleanEnergy #EVCharging
