  • Enock’s journey from the Democratic Republic of Congo to the U.S. is a testament to resilience, determination, and hope. After fleeing political unrest, he found a new home in Georgia and built a future filled with purpose. Today, as a Micro-Enterprise Development Coach with Inspiritus, he’s helping refugees and immigrants launch businesses, gain financial stability, and thrive in their new communities. “America is truly the land of opportunity,” Enock shares. “I wanted to do something more than just go to work and go home.” Recently featured in Rough Draft Atlanta, you can learn more about Enock’s inspiring story and how Inspiritus is helping empower individuals on their paths from #SurvivingToThriving. This weekend, Inspiritus’ Specialized Foster Care program celebrated the holiday season with an unforgettable Christmas gathering! The joy and laughter were abundant, and those amazing gift bags were just the cherry on top! A huge thank-you to Reverend Matt O’Rear and the incredible congregation at St. Luke Lutheran Church ELCA Atlanta for hosting us. Your beautiful space and warm welcome made everyone feel at home. We also want to give a special shoutout to St. John's Lutheran Church, Atlanta, Atonement Lutheran, and Pastor Beverly Brown Shaw. Your partnership and generosity ensured that every child and family went home with gifts and hearts full of holiday cheer. Thanks to your kindness, this celebration was more than just a party—it was a reminder of the power of community and compassion. The families we accompany are thriving because of people like you. Thank you for making this holiday season truly special! #SurvivingToThriving

  • Big things are happening in Middle Tennessee! Yesterday was Day 1 in our new interim space, and we’re thrilled to share it was a huge success! Our Inspiritus Pantry served 51 households and 112 individuals, providing essential support to our community. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing volunteers and partners who helped us get ready for this day—special thanks to Thrivent for their incredible support. This move is a step forward as we prepare for the construction and development of our new campus and we’re so excited for what’s to come! Thank you to everyone who makes our mission possible. 💛

  • What does resilience look like? It looks like children with disabilities finding stability and support as they transition into adulthood. This #GivingTuesday, your support can change the lives of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities navigating the foster care system. Through Inspiritus’ Bridge Program, we connect these children with loving foster families who provide the stability, care, and guidance they need for a brighter future. Meet Taylor. After years in foster care, she found hope through the Bridge Program. With the help of her Support Companion and a caring host home, Taylor has gained confidence, learned essential life skills, and started dreaming of her future again. This Giving Tuesday, your organization can help ensure children like Taylor have the tools to move from surviving to thriving. 💙 Join us in building bridges to resilience and opportunity. Give, partner, or volunteer today. Contact Shakura Conoly at shakura.conoly@weinspirit.org to explore how your team can get involved. Donate: https://lnkd.in/d2F8cmT
