Winterfaith has arrived! Tomorrow, we'll be "wrapping up" our Holiday Sponsor a Family event with a gift-wrapping party and donation drive! If you'd like to help a local family in need, bring new and unwrapped toys, clothing, or household items to our brand new warehouse, located at 2215 Auto Park Way in Escondido between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Come for the joy of giving, stay for hot cocoa and a cookie! It runs in the family! When the Farmer family decided to participate in a Turkey Trot for Thanksgiving, they didn’t realize they’d be starting a new family tradition—a personal 5k course complete with mile markers and custom bibs, with their “entry fee” being a donation to Interfaith. “We have loved doing Turkey Trots in the past but with some proceeds going to event management, we thought it would be more fun to run a 5k on our own at Kit Carson Park in Escondido and donate directly to the wonderful work you all do,” said mom Desiree. We are truly thankful for dedicated supporters like the Farmer family and the creative ways they help local people in need. Inspired?
