The incredible growth of the solar industry in the US since 2016, going from 1 million installations to now over 5 million, brings me a sense of hope. As hope tends not to make the front page, I encourage you to check out this good news and contribute how you can to growing these numbers in these next 5 critical years. One way is support the Interfaithsolar.org campaign https://lnkd.in/eErnqgHp
About us
We are a volunteer community that works with partners to help houses of worship get solar panels on their buildings. We believe that when faith leaders and their congregations go solar, they influence the thinking and behavior of their congregants and the surrounding communities. We want to build momentum around people taking tangible climate action, and we're confident that this work aligns with the research on how to motivate large groups of people to take action to mitigate the worst effects of climate change.

If you know of people who are part of a faith community and would be interested in learning more about solar, please pass this notice about the upcoming webinar along!

As the Program Director of the nonprofit Interfaith Solar Campaign (ISC). Following years of service to my community in health care management, I am devoting my time to this volunteer effort to help faith-based communities benefit from solar energy. We started ISC because we care deeply about the Earth. We are helping many churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples to go solar, as our mission is to help congregations generate their own solar-powered electricity to support their ministry and mission. New opportunities are making it easier than ever for faith-based communities to go solar. But we know from experience that most congregations don't know where to start or how to finance a solar project. We can help. To learn more, please join us for a free informational webinar on Thursday, March 21 at 11am Pacific Time, 2pm Eastern Time. Register here for “Faith Communities, Going Solar Together!” at https://lnkd.in/gYTWKCzz You’ll learn about: How your congregation can take tangible climate action while saving money, with solar panels on your roof or property. New financing options available only to communities of faith. How to make a solar project happen for your organization. You'll leave the webinar knowing how to get started on a solar project and how to get the support you need. We look forward to seeing you at the webinar! If you can’t attend, register anyway and we’ll send you the webinar recording. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions at strategicsolarguy@gmail.com.
