The MR-2 PN is a versatile and high-performance pneumatic drilling unit designed for challenging terrains, such as slope stabilization, anchoring, and rock protection. Its robust tubular frame features a wide base with adjustable folding supports, allowing it to adapt to uneven ground and making lateral movement easy. It can be equipped with either a pneumatic rotating head for use with 2" or 3" down-the-hole (DTH) hammers or a rotopercussion pneumatic/hydro-pneumatic rock drill weighing up to 58 kg. The pneumatic feed system provides a retract force ranging from 950 to 1,250 daN, while the lightweight design (300 to 370 kg) enhances portability, including heli-portability.
