International Union of Painters and Allied Trades

We're sending a big welcome to the new members of Local 193, DC 77! Our union is committing to organizing in the South, and to growing our ranks all across the U.S. and Canada.

Offshore wind is the future, and so are the next generation of workers. We're glad to share our work with NYC high school students, and we hope they join our ranks in a few years!

The Javits Center is the busiest convention center in New York, hosting large conventions and trade shows. Our members in District Council 9 work hard every day to maintain the Javits Center. Members like Gus know the transformational power of a union membership card!

Did you know our union members in District Council 9 are spreading the Christmas spirit all across NYC? A big shoutout to Leici Campos, a first-year painter apprentice with Local 18, and Chris Mignone, a painter journeyperson with Local 24, for their incredible work on the iconic Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center! 

The benefits of our union are profound, and we must do everything we can to reach as many people as possible. We’d like to welcome the newest District Council 3 Painters and Allied Trades Training Fund Local 558 Glaziers members to our union family!

We’d like to congratulate International Union of Painters & Allied Trades, Atlantic Canada for recently earning the AMPP Coating Applicator Specialist (CAS) Level 2 certification. This marks the first CAS certification exam ever offered in Atlantic Canada! And congratulations to members Justin Billard, Devon Gosselin, Logan Jenkinson, Colin Leavitt, Coty MacRoberts, and Josh Robinson, as well as staff members Ray Lawrence, Walt MacDonald, and Ken Seal.
