🌟 Last week, the InterPED consortium gathered in Bilbao, Spain, for the 3rd Plenary Meeting, hosted by our partners Tekniker and Veolia. InterPED workshops in Alba Iulia, held at the beginning of December, brought together local citizens, students, and stakeholders to co-create a vision for a greener energy future! Participants designed tailored energy solutions, focusing on energy storage, EV charging stations, and policy advocacy for energy communities. 🌟💡 At Capriasca’s Arena Innovation Community, InterPED hosted an engaging informational event on 10th December, led by Azienda Elettrica di Massagno (AEM) SA , University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, and the Municipality of Capriasca. Citizens shared their vision for energy flexibility and community participation in new energy models, including upcoming virtual energy communities. 🌍🔋 Earlier this December, in the Lugaritz-Matía Community, InterPED conducted a post-occupancy evaluation to understand the thermal comfort of healthcare staff working in Birmingham Hospital and two nursing homes. 42 staff members shared valuable insights through surveys, and our technical teams are now shaping user stories to refine the InterPED platform.
