I'm building a little app to generate design token names automatically. 🔥 Check the MVP ⤵️ What it does: * Auto-generates token names from your input (add components, category, sub-category, state, role, ...) * Let you customize the naming structure * Makes it easy to experiment and adjust * Saves a lot of time Why? Because naming tokens can feel messy and overwhelming—especially if you’re new to it. * It helps you see the whole set of names (and stay consistent) * Clarifies the difference between semantic and component tokens. * Shows how too many (component) tokens can quickly get out of hand. * It's a quick way to test and figure out what works best for your team. Today, I had the pleasure of joining Marcelo Paiva for a session of presenting and component a11y reviews thanks to Into Design Systems Community & Conference, and just as with my first experience joining this community I am blown away. I don't know that I've ever encountered a group of people so eager and hungry to learn about accessibility. These folks willingly put their designs in our hands, things they'd spent blood sweat and tears on, and watched as we dissected every aspect of them with the best of intensions. That takes such grace and such openness! Then, they just kept asking questions, wanting to learn more. These are the moments I live for! These are the moments I realize why I can't just sit behind my screens and test all day, because watching someone have that glorious moment of realization that accessibility isn't this unattainable, scary thing is honestly one of the reasons I get up in the morning lately. My most sincere thanks to all of you for a great session! Thank you for being one of the things I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving.
