After creating multiple SaaS products at Ionio, I noticed that every product have a different data to visualize on dashboard with some common things like cumulative users, total sales etc. Sometimes i don't know which metric or chart is more important to add in the dashboard because there are so many things to consider and i end up having multiple charts in dashboard. Now sometimes i might require very specific information or insight about the product data which i don't have in dashboard so i am not gonna go through the database and perform analysis to get the data 💀 because it will take me 1-2 days just to get it. So i created a LLM tool which can generate personalized and dynamic dashboards for your business requirements, you just need to enter what you want to visualize or let it decide and it will do the rest of the work for you. Here is how it works 👇 📑 Gather business and database information The tool will ask you to enter your business information and database URL to connect with. 💡 Generate chart ideas The tool will connect with the DB and get the database information and generate 3 chart ideas based on given business requirement. ⚒️ Generate and execute the query For each chart idea, it will then generate a valid SQL query and execute it to get the required data 🧩 Format the database response and generate chart data Chart data generator tool will then take the database response and format it in a way that it can be plotted on chart. 📈 Generate charts and insights It will then generate the given charts along with other information like chart title, chart info and insights. The other day, I was at Starbucks, just chilling with my coffee, when this random girl walks up and starts talking about product development and design. At first, I thought: “Okay, this is unexpected.” But then she said something that really stuck with me: “Engineers need to understand design. Developers have lost their creativity lately.” Boom. That hit different. She wasn’t wrong. Somewhere along the way, we got so focused on writing efficient code and meeting deadlines that we forgot the art of what we do—the creativity, the user experience, the “why” behind every line of code we write. Her words were a wake-up call. Development isn’t just about making things work—it’s about making them work beautifully. It’s about solving problems creatively, thinking like a designer, and building products that people love to use. Maybe it’s time we developers brought creativity back into the process. ⚡ Wrote a quick python script to convert Invoices to JSON data and graphs using LLaMA models. - Uses Llama-3.2-90B for vision - Converts them into JSON - JSON then can be analysed The fact that these LLMs are dirt cheap now means we don't have to deal with pesky OCR models and various parsers. More features to add: - Report Generation: Generate spending reports - Deeper Analysis: Analyse and suggest ways to reduce spending. - Create Balance Sheets and PnL statements: Keep track of spendings and earnings by just uploading images and PDFs.
