𝔸 𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥 𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡! 🏀🏀🏀 Davenport Parks and Recreation partnered with St. Ambrose University's Bee Adaptive and Inclusive Club and the Davenport Police Department to host a basketball tournament and fundraiser this past Sunday to support Scott County Special Olympics adult athletes. Over 150 people attended the tournament to cheer on the teams and over $2,000 was raised to support Scott County Adult athletes travel to compete in the Iowa Games! A huge thank you to all that attended, the Scott County Special Olympics athletes, St. Ambrose basketball players, officers from Davenport Police, Scott County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa DOC, and the St. Ambrose cheer squad athletes, as well as the volunteers who helped at the admissions, bake sale, t-shirt and raffle prize tables! #IDOC

🦙 𝔽𝕦𝕟 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕒𝕝𝕡𝕒𝕔𝕒𝕤! The 5th District's Staff Recruitment and Retention Committee sponsored a second visit to Rusty Star Alpacas in Winterset in October! It was a great turnout and a lot of fun! Since their last visit, five more alpacas have been added to the farm. A big thanks to everyone that visited. It was a peaceful, educational and fun time! #IDOC

What a day it was for the 7th District! It was an amazing turnout to celebrate our people. It was the 50th anniversary of the District and the swearing-in ceremony for the HRU team. A big thanks to Honorable Chief Judge Henry Latham for helping us out with the ceremony, and a special shoutout to the planning committee, 7th District staff, legislators, local law enforcement leaders across the District, HRU's across the state, and District Director's across the state for making this so special. It was truly a memorable event. Another shoutout to 5th District HRU Supervisor Garvey and 8th District Sgt. Deen on attending the event as well! #IDOC

Central Office hosted its very first Pumpkin Decorating Contest for Halloween! Office divisions put their creativity to the test, submitting some truly incredible pumpkins to be judged throughout the month. ✨Congratulations to the Research Division for taking home the win this year! ✨ We were blown away by the creativity and participation from everyone. Thank you to all who made this event such a success. We can't wait to see what amazing designs next year will bring! 🎃🎨 #IDOC
