Meet one of our presenters for next week's program: Carrier Li is Engineer Director for Amgen's Engineering Operations Services organization. He leads the Digital Engineering and Architectural Center of Excellence Group. He is Amgen's digital lead for Engineering, advancing the digital transformation goals and strategy. Carrier has been with Amgen for over 19 years, and has previously held several other positions in the Engineering team over his tenure with the organization.   Prior to Amgen, Carrier was Project Design Manager for Merck & Co. Inc. leading Front-End Planning activities in Engineering and Capital Projects across multiple global sites. He is a Chemical Engineer by training. Join us next week on the 11th! Meet one of our presenters for next week's program: Sarah Braet is the Head of Digital Transformation at the Takeda Los Angeles facility and is responsible for aligning the site digital strategy to its operational objectives. She’s driving the site’s digital transformation by ensuring data-democratization and cross-functional collaboration and learning. She’s an Alumni member of Takeda’s Global Millennial Advisory Board. During her time on the board, she was actively involved in discussions on company-wide topics such as Hybrid way of working, Unleashing the power of AI and big data, and Workforce of the future. Sarah holds a Master of Drug Development (Pharmacist) and an Advanced Master of Industrial Pharmacy (Qualified Person certified). She has 10 years of experience in Plasma Derived Therapies in different areas such as Manufacturing Science, Process Improvement and Control Strategy, Product Lifecycle Management, Tech Transfer, CMO, Project Management and Business Excellence. She combined her work on the successful development and authorization of an automated continuous manufacturing line in Belgium with her Executive MBA at the Vlerick Business School, after which she relocated to California. Sarah is known for her continuous drive and positive energy. She loves networking and volunteering her time to help people develop the (future) skills that they’ll need to succeed in their aspirations. Whether that be as part of a digital transformation journey, as an HBA mentor or as the Vice-President of the HBA Brussels chapter, she’s equally invested in empowering others to get where they deserve to be in their careers.
