Israel Economic Mission to the USA - East Coast

Last Wednesday, we had the privilege of hosting our 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in New York City, bringing together a vibrant mix of our partners and connections from the Israeli and American business communities. The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends, foster new connections, and celebrate in a warm and joyous atmosphere. Amongst the attendees were representatives from our Healthtech, Proptech, and Insurtech delegations who visited NYC last week, adding to the spirit of innovation and collaboration. Isaac DaBom, an innovative Israeli musician and artist, joined Richard Blackstone as featured speakers for an enlightening conversation about Isaac’s groundbreaking sound work on the award-winning Israeli movie, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺.” Josh Greenstein, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Israel Wine Producers Association (IWPA), captivated the audience with a fascinating talk on Israel’s rich history of winemaking and its strides in innovation. We would like to especially thank IWPA for sponsoring our holiday events, year after year. Our deepest appreciation to Rabbi Mendy Carlebach for speaking on the importance of the holiday and for blessing us all with a happy holiday season. What an exciting time at the Calcalist Tech & Investment Conference 2024, an impactful conference and showcase held in Miami, Fl. The 3 day conference was the first of its kind to appear in Miami, a testament to the region’s growth as a home for technological innovation. Calcalist brought together the brightest minds in tech and investment, convening those looking to become more involved in the Israeli business ecosystem. Amidst a series of engaging panels, fireside chats, and pitch presentations, our own Anat Katz moderated a fascinating discussion on the evolution of real estate and proptech post-pandemic, and looking at  the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in the sector. The panel featured top industry leaders, including Russell Galbut, Shlomo Khoudari, Zvi Gordon, Melissa R., and Liat Shuv, who discussed trends and opportunities in both the Israeli and U.S. markets. The conversation highlighted the resilience and potential of Israel’s real estate market, while also illuminating the rise in foreign investment from diaspora Jews into the Israeli real estate market.
