Farner, an entrepreneurship major from Omaha, Nebraska, is in his second year at Iowa State; he joined the alumni association in 2023 as the Lora and Russ Talbot Visual Content Intern. It's back! The RG Express Train is back on display at Reiman Gardens. Through the holiday season, visitors can delight in this detailed garden scale display. The RG Express is one of only 18 North American train displays of this magnitude! Walk past, around, and under miniature buildings and bridges built in the likeness of some of Iowa State University's and Reiman Gardens' most significant buildings.

The Iowa Stater fall 2024 issue is now available! Uncover the legacy of ISU All-American and World War II veteran Tom Smith, and learn more about the 100-year history of Iowa State’s Child Development Laboratory School and its impact on big and little students alike. Member-only content includes a feature on lifelong Iowa State friendships and a Cyclone Power interview with actor, filmmaker, and stand-up comedian Andrew Lopez.
