About us

ECHO stands for Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes. A movement that began in Albuquerque, New Mexico to connect primary care teams with inter-disciplinary specialist teams to improve treatment for complex and chronic health conditions. The ECHO programs hosted by the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health that are freely available to all providers are Black Maternal Health, Hepatitis C (HCV), LGBTQ+ Health, HIV, Cancer Prevention and Survivorship Care, Trans Health, and Integrated Pain Management.
